Religion my ass!
Oh well, in the mood for a real blog entry for a change.
The church finally got me, dont laugh! Yes they wanted my money, and also a whole lot of it.
Background story: I dont know if thats just in austria or generally around the world if you get born into a catholic enviroment, but here you are a member of the church if your parents didnt state otherwise at your birth. No way around it, you dont get asked or have to sign up or anything. The catch is: they get a minimum of 1% of your yearly income, as a “tax”.
But people like me, you know the kind of dudes who check their mailbox (not the one in the boobtube, the metal thing downstairs) like twice a month to see if theres coupons, we happen to ignore envelopes with religious symbols most of the time. Ok always.
So it seems like i havent payed the mother church for her spiritual service quite a while now, and she got a bit angry with me. Long story short, i had a few meetings with a nice lady working for them, and after showing her my recent paychecks she was so shocked that she erased my dept out of their system *lol* Also she delayed my future fees for one year so i dont have to worry about this for a while, enough time to officially become an Atheist.
Dont get me wrong im not really anti-religion or something, i had my ups and downs with the bigboss, bigger downs than ups but i wouldnt go as far as to judge anyone who finds pleasure in any kind of religious-spiritualism. I just like to think of myself as one of the lucky to have grown out of that MEME, yes im a man of science ´n´stuff. Me 1 Jesus 0 hahahaa. See u all in hell!
