Do not watch this clip if you cant handle some spoons of truth, or have a weak stomach. It really is disturbing, they are skinning these animals FUCKING alive, for the sole purpose (aside from the fur, wich is stupid enough, cmon its 2009 – wake up cavepeople) of entertaining the bystanders. You can hear it in the audio. rly, dont start arguing with me about fine tequniques of fur production, or cultural bullshit, the critter doenst need to be alive to be skinned, just kill the poor motherfucker…

Religion my ass!

Oh well, in the mood for a real blog entry for a change.
The church finally got me, dont laugh! Yes they wanted my money, and also a whole lot of it.
Background story: I dont know if thats just in austria or generally around the world if you get born into a catholic enviroment, but here you are a member of the church if your parents didnt state otherwise at your birth. No way around it, you dont get asked or have to sign up or anything. The catch is: they get a minimum of 1% of your yearly income, as a “tax”.
But people like me, you know the kind of dudes who check their mailbox (not the one in the boobtube, the metal thing downstairs) like twice a month to see if theres coupons, we happen to ignore envelopes with religious symbols most of the time. Ok always.
So it seems like i havent payed the mother church for her spiritual service quite a while now, and she got a bit angry with me. Long story short, i had a few meetings with a nice lady working for them, and after showing her my recent paychecks she was so shocked that she erased my dept out of their system *lol* Also she delayed my future fees for one year so i dont have to worry about this for a while, enough time to officially become an Atheist.
Dont get me wrong im not really anti-religion or something, i had my ups and downs with the bigboss, bigger downs than ups but i wouldnt go as far as to judge anyone who finds pleasure in any kind of religious-spiritualism. I just like to think of myself as one of the lucky to have grown out of that MEME, yes im a man of science ´n´stuff. Me 1 Jesus 0 hahahaa. See u all in hell!

This is just one of many examples on how things like twitter and facebook changed the cyberworld, in a bad way.
This picture was submited in early 2007.

Since then it received about 5000 views, and 140 comments. It got picked by admins to be shown in a best-of news article, and received a lot of praise.
in reality its really just some fancy colored buildings i drew WITHOUT a fucking ruler. Its mediocre at best, but who cares rite.
Now, more than 2 years later i submitted this piece (Its the most popular artwork on my new dA account)

It received 2300 views, but was only commented 11 times. I have put about 3 times as many hours into this, i used skillful techniques only known to the elders of some far away galaxy and last but not least I USED A FUCKING RULER, so the lines are like… straight..
And thats were Twitter and Facebook and everything related comes into play. These “Platforms” invented the new “Online attention span” to the public. Messages cannot be longer than oneliners, have the information value of “I gotta pee.” and are only followed by a collection of refollowers. Blame myspace for this. “Hello i took 3 seconds to load your page, please add me as your best friend foreva”. Whatever happened to “I like your style, would you care about some feedback?”?!
Sorry about the rant but i really miss “back then”. It was way more exciting, now its not even woth to take the time to upload stuff anymore.
